Neighborhood Condominium & Townhouse Associations:
There are 25 Neighborhood Associations at Wintergreen that have legal responsibilities for these areas.
Each is made up of all property owners within a specific named regime such as Laurelwood, The Cliffs or
Trillium Place. Owners are automatically members by acquisition of their property in the regime. Each
association has an elected board of directors that is responsible for elements common to all owners in that
particular neighborhood. These functions might include landscaping, maintenance of parking lots and
exterior of buildings or common walkways and pest control. For associations managed by Wintergreen
Partners Inc. through its Property Management Department, the telephone number is (434) 325- 8026.
Neighborhood Association Council of Officers:
This is an advisory group made up of representatives of all neighborhood associations. Generally, the
neighborhood association presidents and/or treasurers meet periodically to discuss matters affecting all
associations.
Homesteader Organization and Valley Association:
These are two voluntary organizations, Mountain Homesteaders and the Wintergreen Valley Association.
Both have elected boards that allow property owners with specific interests to exchange ideas and organize
social functions.
Wintergreen Property Owners Volunteer Rescue Squad:
Wintergreen Volunteer Fire Department:
These are two separate organizations, each controlled by its own board of directors. Generally they are
funded by contributions from individual property owners and contributions from WPOA, WPI and Nelson
County.
