Directions: Going up the mountain on Wintergreen Drive past the Mountain Inn and the Founders' Overlook, turn right on Blue Ridge Drive and past the condos to Timber Camp Drive, turn right. The swimming pool and pavilion is on the right. Direct dial: 434-818-0813
WPOA's Chestnut Springs pool and pavilion site is located on Wintergreen mountain on Timber Camp Drive. It is open to all property owners and their guests. Property owners should show their pool pass at the pools when checking in. Guests of property owners must show their guests pool passes when checking in.
Since it can be cool on the mountain even in the summer, the Chestnut Springs pool is heated. Summer pool hours are typically staffed 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pools are closed every day between 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for daily maintenance. Thursday evenings pools close at 6pm for overnight chemical treatments, re-opening Fridays at 10a.m.
The Chestnut Springs park area has high-speed wifi to guests around the swimming pool.
About guests at the WPOA Pools:
SIX guests per property may access the pool. Example: one owner and five guests can use the pool, two owners and four guests, or six unaccompanied guests. The limit on people using WPOA pools per property is six (regardless of whether an owner or guest).
• Unaccompanied guests may use the pool from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. daily
The Chestnut Springs pavilion is for Wintergreen property owners. It is surrounded by picnic tables, but inside can seat 60. Property owners should reserve the pavilion in advance.
There is a ready-to-use gas grill available to registered users of the pavilion. The building has electric outlets and lights.
To reserve the pavilion areas for family events check the calendar regarding availability, then fill in the fillable form. Have fun! Note: Pavilion reservation does not guarantee pool access when pool is being used by day guests. Reservations accepted from May 1 through mid October.
