Having the entire street paved will be the standard in Wintergreen neighborhoods. The long tradition of putting a patchwork of tar and gravel on every Wintergreen street during the summer months is no more.

Two exhibits have been added to the platform at Founders Vision Overlook on Wintergreen’s mountain. This is part of the renovation started last year by the Wintergreen Property Owners Association. 

WPOA’s pools at Chestnut Springs on the mountain and Rodes Farm in the valley operate from the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.

Owners and accompanied guests may use the pool from 10 am until 8 pm daily. Unaccompanied guests of property owners may use the pool from 2 pm until 8 pm daily.

On March 4th, the Wintergreen Emergency Egress Act was passed in the House of Representatives.

With normal rainfall, the water storage capacity in the Stoney Creek Ponds is adequate. During periods of drought and/or high demand, pond levels go down to meet the community needs.
