How property owners vote on the Buyer Transfer Fee Amendment

At least 60% of property owners must vote, and 75% of those votes must be “yes” for the board's recommended amendment to pass and avoid higher annual assessments.

 

There are several ways to cast a vote on the Buyer Transfer Fee Amendment

  • Return a ballot by mail– Amendment Ballots will arrive in the mail around October 15, 2026 with the Special Meeting notice.

  • Drop off the completed mailed ballot at Wintergreen– There will be drop boxes at the WPOA office building, the mountain’s gatehouse, and Tuckahoe Clubhouse in the valley.

  • Email– Scan the completed ballot you receive in the mail and email it to admin@wtgpoa.org.

  • Fax the completed ballot mailed to you– The fax number 434-325-1464

    or

  • Vote electronically–Use the new WPOA Owner Portal. See details on how below.

Property owners who have already set up with a portal account will find the online voting process convenient.

WPOA transitioned to a new owner accounting system in 2025 and has been encouraging owners to create accounts within the system. In addition to paying assessments and managing your owner account information electronically, the owner portal can also manage online voting. This amendment vote will be the first time WPOA has used the owner portal to collect ballots.

Don’t have a WPOA Property Owners Portal account yet? For the next several weeks, WPOA will be emailing instructions to owners who have not set up portal accounts.

Here are the five steps on how to set up an account
and cast your vote

1. Look for an email from WPOA about the portal. It will come from this address: Wintergreen Property Owners Association Inc. <no-reply@eunify.net>

2. Follow the instructions to create the account.

3. Click on Go To Main Page

3. Find “Election” in the navigation list:

4. Click on the Vote Now button for the Buyer Transfer Fee Amendment.

5. Cast your vote, yes or no.

That’s It. Now that you have a portal account, you can pay assessments online, manage your account information and contacts, vote electronically in future elections, and more.
