The Highlands Leisure Trail is a connecting trail between the resort’s Mountain Inn/Blackrock Village and the Wintergarden’s spa, gym, and pools.
The word “leisure” in this trail’s name may be misleading. While this trail provides visitors with quick access to older-growth forests without requiring a long hike, in places it can be as steep and rocky as any moderate mountain trail.
Near the high end of the trail there is an overlook platform with views of the Highlands ski slopes, Crawfords Knob, and Humpback Mountain.
