The 2024 Wintergreen Trout Tournament on the Trout Pond in Stoney Creek held on Saturday, May 4, starts at 8:30 am and ends at 11:30 am; prizes will be awarded at noon. No pre-registration is needed. The fish stocked for this event, now in its sixth year, are in the 14-to-20-inch range and may weigh up to 6 pounds.

There is no cost to participate; WSC membership is not required. Those fishing only need a valid Virginia Freshwater Fishing License, and be a Wintergreen property owner, a guest of a Wintergreen property owner, or a guest of the Wintergreen Resort. The Wintergreen Property Owners Association and the Wintergreen Sporting Club co-sponsor the tournament. See important details here.
