From the Wintergreen Founders Overlook Access, take the Highlands/Logger Alley Access trails, turn left on the Loggers Alley Trail. From Loggers Alley, take the Upper Gorge and Falls trail to the Old AT.
From the Old AT, take the Devils Knob Trail to the White Oak Trail which returns to the starting point.
The Upper Loggers Alley Trail is closed in the winter.
